Appearance: Aidan looks like your average boy next door; clean cut, polite and basically non threatening. He dresses for success. Usually he is seen in either dress slacks or Dockers with dress shirts, tie and jacket. He always looks prim, pressed and proper. Though at home he will relax a bit with sweats, t-shirts and socks, unless he is working out or jogging. Then it is speedos and tank tops.

Personality: Aidan is laid back, alert and quick to take action when the situation calls for it. He is an apt listener and asks plenty of questions to try and get to the 'bottom' of issues', be they work or personal related. He is not trigger happy by no means, as he knows when there is situations that call for a draw of the gun or just simply using diversion and a calm voice to manage the situation. He has become prone to bouts of depressive behaviors and sometimes seeks times to himself in the back yard of his house. This is a result of his best friend Xander dying from a bullet wound in the line of duty.

History: Aidan was born and raised in New Orleans. His father was a police officer so that was what he knew he wanted to be. He attended college after high school, earning a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and then went onto the police academy once he was 22 years old. He graduated with honors, first in his class and immediately was recruited to the NOPD.

After 5 years on the street he took his detective test and passed with flying colors. He was promoted to detective in the homicide unit and stayed there until the formation of RPIT. He figured that RPIT would be interesting and that he could learn much regarding preternatural beings in this unit. He put in a transfer and was transferred to the team.

He started to take some classes at Loyola in relation to his new job: Preternatural Studies. He is thinking about going ahead and gaining a degree in this area, but isn't fully sure yet. Though he is only 2 classes away from having a degree in it, he keeps taking classes.

He has been dating Raine Deveraux for the past 4 years and has just proposed to her.

Strengths:Aidan is a Black Belt in Karate. He is able to keep his cool, even in tricky situations. His calm and steady thoughts allows him to think things out completely before acting. He carries his Glock 9mm with him at all time, loaded with silver bullets and knows exactly where to hit for death shots.

Weaknesses: Raine. Sometimes he gets so interested in the minute pieces of the puzzle (or murder, or argument) that he misses the big picture all together.

Quirks: He likes to drink Jose Quervo Tequlia and St. Pauli Girl Beer. He drives a Navy Jeep Wrangler, outfitted with all the perks of a Jeep, tow wenches, lights, hard and soft tops and he keeps it spotless.
