Eyes: Gray-Blue
Personality: Xander is very intelligent, kind and caring, but with a hard, tough military edge. He's a very follow the book sort of guy. Sometimes he comes off a bit more gruff than he is. Once you get to know him, you immediately think of the sweet, boy next door type. He is very observant, tending to sit back, and watch a situation from all angles, before acting. He has a biting sarcastic wit, and is probably a bit over protective of his baby sister. He is actually a very old fashioned guy. History: Xander was born and raised in New Orleans. His father was a NO homicide detective, and his mother the quintessential domestic goddess. He lived the typical boyhood. Baseball, fishing, and hanging around the police station much more than pleased his mother. He was an inquisitive lad, and loved to learn. Xander was 15 when his baby sister was born, He spent the next few years spoiling her rotten. Rather than just attend college, Xander chose the military life, where he was able to get his schooling AND live the life of adventure. Xander was hand picked to become a member of a special forces team that was created, specialising in preternatural research and dealings. He was working undercover with the CIA when his parents were brutally murdered during a home invasion, and he came back to New Orleans to take care of his teenage sister, who had been at a friend's sleepover during the attack. She was the one who alerted the police, because she "saw it happen", even though she was sleeping half way across the city. Xander moved back to New Orleans and became his sister's guardian. He continued to advise, and freelance some, but didn't take on a full time job for the next 3 years. He felt it was more important he remain at home to give his sister the love and support she needed, as she coped with the trauma in her life, and came to terms with everything. She has just turned 18, and Xander has decided it is time to get back in the mainstream of Preternatural investigation. Of course, with his resume' he is an ideal candidate for the RPIT. Strengths: Xander excels in Martial Arts, hand to hand combat, and is proficient with most types of guns. He is also extremely intelligent. His special forces training renders him practically a deadly weapon, of the Human variety. Weaknesses: His sister is his biggest weakness. He would do anything for her. Another weakness is he is only human, and tends to forget it when in the heat of an investigation. Quirks: HATES coffee. He loves to get down and dirty and what Louisiana born male does NOT live to fish? For relaxation, he reads, or disappears into the Bayou.
