Eyes: Green Personality:
Though his looks might fool you the first time you meet Ben, you will only
kid him about being one of the little people once. He is sharp, intelligent,
and acerbic. He is the master of being "every man" and uses his
unremarkable looks to get him into places other reporters can't. He has a
nose for a story and is a cross between a bloodhound and a bulldog. Once he
gets the scent, he tracks it down and then he sinks his teeth in and won't let
go until he has all the facts. Ben is a crusader. He hates injustice and is
willing to put it all on the line to get the story. History:
Born and raised in Salt Lake City, Ben came to Tulane for college. He fell in
love with New Orleans and after graduation with a degree in Journalism, he
decided to stay. His first job was as a police stringer for the New Orleans
Times-Picayune newspaper. When he broke a story on police corruption, he got
his by-line and his reputation. Eventually, the electronic media came calling
and he is now the investigative reporter for KNLA. City officials hate to see
him at a press conference. Having him show up on their doorstep is even
worse. Ben has cultivated friends in both high and low places and has one of
the best networks of snitches ("unnamed sources" if you please) in
the city. He has his finger on the pulse of New Orleans society - human and
preternatural. Strengths: As
an investigative reporter, Ben can get the public's attention. He is smart
and doesn't miss any detail, no matter how insignificant it might seem. He is
a good friend to have and a bad enemy to make. Weaknesses: He
is human and easy to kill or injure. Quirks: Ben
loves Chinese food and works the New York Times crossword puzzle in ink. |
