Personality: A
very domineering and controlling person, Josh doesn't back down to anyone.
Life must be done his way, and there is no other option. Although, he will
put on a front of sincerity and kindness to lure women into his life, he does
a complete turn around once he has them where he wants them. Generally a
hardworking person, he excels at his job, because he loves the sight of
destruction- and he does it outside of the law on occasion, as well. History:
Born to a drug addicted mother and continually absent father, Joshua was left
to fend for himself more often than not. As a child, he was forced to help
pay the bills by his fiending mother by selling drugs after school. He was
removed from his parent's custody at the age of eight, when police officers
found him selling marijuana on school grounds. Once taken into the system, he didn't fare much better. No
foster family would keep him more than a week, because he didn't get along
with other children, and was constantly suspended or expelled from every
school he attended. Then, as he hit puberty, he found out he had the ability to
set things on fire with merely a thought. At first, the power was limited to
easily flammable objects, like paper or dried leaves. As he grew and learned
to control this power better, he found that he could set small animals
alight, and then he made a huge mistake. In his sophomore year of highschool, a bully tested his
patience one too many times. In front of a crowd, Josh set the boy himself on
fire. He was never charged for it, because no one could prove he'd done it. After that, paranoid that he would be caught for it
evenutally, he fled to the south, finding himself in Texas. There he got into
the demolition business, by finding himself an easily moldable female by the
name of Justine Lonsdale. Her father handed over the demolition business when
he retired, and life was going good. Until Justine left him, which caught him off gaurd so much so
that he was determined to track her down and force her to submit to him. He
left the business in the hands of a friend and took off after her, following
her from place to place. He lost track of her after a month or so, but word
has it that she's now living in New Orleans. Subsequently, that's where
Joshua himself has now landed, determined to reclaim what he believes is
rightfully his, or die trying. Strengths:
Very skilled at controlling his powers, able to direct it with accurate
precision. His physical strength is always handy in a fight, since he usually
refrains from using his fire abilities in combat (he learned that lesson the
first time around). Very quick on his feet, and a fast thinker, he usually
can come up with any lie at the drop of a hat to keep himself out of hot
water. Weaknesses:
Usual human weaknesses. Very paranoid, when it comes to dealing with the law.
Reckless and defiant, it's caused him to do stints in jail numerous times. Quirks: He
has a very soft spot in his heart somewhere, but he hides it by being big,
loud, and calloused. Justine failed to touch it because of her submissive and
kind nature, but any woman willing to stand up to him might just earn his
