Appearance: Kat is, to put it in one word, sultry. From her slender frame to lush lips, her appearance is enough to make most men weak at the knees. Her large doe eyes are a hazel color which seem to be more brown then anything else. Her face is a soft oval shape with strong cheekbones and lush lips. Her few curves aren't overly lush, she is more muscle then anything. Her dark brown hair is long and unless she is going out, is often tied back in a braid.

Personality: She is a woman who is as self contained as you get. She may seem emotionless, a machine, to those who don't know her. In a way she is. She has a quirk, a method of self preservation, that lets her detach her emotions in order to complete the job - which as a cop was an assistance. She is afraid of being abandoned something which was triggered by her parents leaving her and her twin to fend for themselves at a young age. Her sister is everything to her - she has protected her and will continue to do so till death.

History: Katra and her sister were abandoned as small children at one of the churches. It was thought that they were no older then four at the time, two identical little angels. Unable to find their parents, they were placed in foster care. Katra was happy just so long as her sister was with her. She was always the more vocal of the children, the dominant twin. They were passed from foster home to foster home especially as they got older.

She may have been the perfect child, however Kit, she was special. Kat always knew that her sister was different- after all, most didn't talk in other peoples heads, which had happened for as long as she could remember. Normal people didn't know what people were feeling, or thinking. Normal people didn't say what the other person was thinking. Some would have felt jealous if their sibling had shown such a strong psychic ability, Kat however, she only felt pity. Her sister suffered nightmares, panic attacks and paranoia, all of which she was the only one who could anchor her, the only one close enough to null that she could focus on but not be overwhelmed by.

All this changed when they were eighteen and yet again placed in a different home. Kat had gone to school- it was career day- and had decided that she wanted to go into the police force. When she got back to the foster home she found her sister gone. Her foster parents had put her into a mental institution not believing that she was special. Unable to have her released, Katra could only watch from the side as her sister was drugged and put through various treatments to try and 'cure' her.

It took two years before she could get her out. During that two years she went through accelerated courses at college and managed to get accepted into the police academy. She supported her sister mourning the carefree girl that she had once been. She started her on the long track to healing her.

It was when she was 24 that life, yet again, turned upside down. Katra was clawed up by a werehyena while in the line of duty. Three weeks of her sister offering to buy her a collar and dog food, she shifted for the first time. Glad at least that her sister is (sort of) sane, Katra can focus on controlling her beast- something that, with Kit's running commentary, should be interesting to say the least.

She is still a rogue, not having contacted the Clans as yet - she is however waiting on information on another assignment, one with the PRO, and is uncertain on whether to accept- either way she has been outed.

Strengths: Came top of her class in firearms. Has the patience of a saint and can understand cryptic conversations.

Weaknesses: Has no idea what she is doing in regards to shifting. Considering her rather public infection it is likely that she will be approached to work with the PRO.

Quirks: Gnaws on her lip when nervous.
