Appearance: He may look like an average built guy but is quite muscled due to hours built in the gym. He usually wears black, accompanied with gothic style makeup when he goes out. His hair is short and usually spiked up with gel but on occasion, he has been known to have it flat, though only when he wears a baseball cap.

Personality: Nathan is quite chatty and outgoing. Since moving to NO, he has lost some his naivety about shifters after meeting some other hyenas and has a more mature head on his shoulders. It takes a lot to anger him, except when it concerns his friends and family. He will only fight when provoked and is both strong willed and stubborn. He is also very loving and protective of those who he cared about.

History: Nathan was born in Las Vegas, the city of gambling and music. He grew up surrounded by the scene as his dad worked in one of the casinos as a croupier and his mother was a cabaret singer, touring the local circuit. He usually spent his time with his mum but was very often left in the care of his grandparents who he regarded as second parents. He was heartbroken when they died, he was six years old, and endured further tragedy when his parents were killed in a car crash, leaving Nathan in the care of the authorities.

He hated his first foster parents and had two more before being adopted at the age of ten and moving to Detroit, a far cry from Las Vegas and the life he was used to. Nathan started to get into trouble at school and was expelled at 15. He then got a job working with his adoptive father at his garage, learning how to fix up cars and at eighteen became a security guard at the local rap club. He then moved onto nightclubs and earned enough cash to save up. Nate wanted to get the hell out of Detroit, a place he’d grown tired of. The final straw was when one night he was attacked by a drunk in half-and-half form who bit him on the arm, causing him to contract the hyena form of the lycanthropy virus. After the first time he turned furry, he knew his family wouldn't be able to cope with his dark secret and left home for their sake as much as his own.

Now at twenty-three, he finds himself in New Orleans for a fresh start, hoping to put his past behind him. Within the first day, he met a young woman who would change things for him, Kyra Dawn and some hyenas who would change his perspective on his condition . Things have progressed quickly for him as Kyra is now his girlfriend and they are moving into an apartment together. He will soon start working at ‘Les Deux Monde’, a bookshop owned by his girlfriend.

Strengths: He is very strong for his age and will fight for worthy causes. He has a knack at disarming people and handling weapons. His control over his beast is slowly improving and he can now shift back without blacking out, though it does tire him.

Weaknesses: He is still a beta so still suffers from control issues, especially in situations of high emotion. He also has all the usual weaknesses.

Quirks: Has developed a taste for waffle cones and won’t say no to a nice pint. Usually works out in the gym to keep himself in shape, though has recently let this slide.

Other: When shifted, he is a striped hyena with pale, near white hair and dark stripes. His beast on occasion reacts to Kyra’s power but isn’t quite sure what it is. His scent is of cinnamon.
