Appearance: Tall, dark and good looking with dark, dark brown hair and glittering emerald eyes. About 6'2 and well built, but not overly muscled. Slayde has sun bronzed skin, and no tan lines.His finely chiseled bone structure makes him almost appear pretty, if it weren't for the predatory glint in his eyes.

Personality: Slayde can best be described as the strong silent type. Friendly, but serious. In a fight, you want him on your side. Very intelligent & watchful, he mostly thinks first, acts second.When it comes to were politics, he is all for the structure of the clan. If headed by a deserving Oba, he'll be loyal to the end. He's just not a big fan of the mystical crap.

History: Slayde was born in New York state. His mother was a pretty little bartender, who was beguiled by a West Point attendee, then cruelly abandoned. His mother, Susan worked hard as a single mother, trying to give him the best life possible, but they always barely scraped by. Slayde was extremely intelligent, always on the honor roll, yet always in trouble in school. HE felt it was his duty to protect those who could not protect themselves, and was often called to the principal's office for kicking bullies asses.

When he turned 18, Slayde decided to join the military. 5 years ago, he was selected to partake in a special military project. Slayde was part of a select few who were infected with random lycanthropy serum. The government funded secret project was to create the *perfect* soldier. Slayde was successfully infected, and now carries the beast of a hyena within him. He, and the other successful infected soldiers became an elite fighting force.

Slayde has recently been released from the military, and part of his conditional release was that he take up residence in a city piloting the new lycanthrope laws, where he must be registered and monitored, ebcause he IS a deadly weapon. And so, has found himself in New Orleans.

Strengths: As far as abilities, Slayde has the usual were capabilities, speed, strength, stamina, accelerated healing. Though a physical powerhouse, he's not the most *powerful* of alphas. His strength is above normal, and he is the epitome of the warrior class. He is trained in hand to hand combat, and know every gun known to mankind, and probably some that aren't so generally known. He is an explosives expert.

Weaknesses: His highly protective nature makes him an easy mark for women. Where he has an abundance of strength, his speed is on the low level of most weres. It takes a lot to hurt him, but sometimes, he isslwoer to heal from the more serious wounds, without help.
