Personality:
Tequila is a very optimistic, happy-go-lucky kind of person, always looking
on the bright side of things; because, hey, it could always be worse. She is
the brains of the operation, she can come up with inventive, efficient, and
quick ways to get things done. She loves helping other people, hence her
medical career. She has OCD but has learned control.Her teeth are almost too
white and straight, she is never caught dead without some kind of make up,
and her apartment is immaculate. Busy hands are happy hands, that's her
motto. But make no mistake; she never reveals too much of herself (if any at
all), and has a quick temper; she is ruthless with her mind set on justice or
revenge. History:
Born and raised in Las Vegas. A born lion, Tequila inherited her beast from
her mother's side of the family, who carries a rather virulent strain of the
virus, especially in the women. Not a traditional lion family, she was not
pushed into becoming a political juggernaut, or the princess. She was left to
follow her own dreams and ambitions from childhood. Although she was
disciplined from birth on controlling her beast, her strength, her mind, and
all her other gifts- because it was apparent that she was an alpha. At the age of three, she was diagnosed as having Obsessive Compulsive
Disorder; her parents had her evaluated when she demanded that everything
within her reach be the way she desired it.. even without speaking. She was a
strong leader from the beginning, taking charge of her group of friends in
elementary school, heading projects in class, and being the head on sports
teams. Sports and exercise, she learned as she grew, was a wonderful
way to express her OCD; she kept her body in shape, and she did it her way.
Although she did take many martial arts classes, as well. She distanced many
friends from herself by having what she calls a 'freak out' when something
put something of hers out of order; she'd kick the perpetrator out, and then
spend the remaining hours of the day putting it all back again. At seventeen, she sought help controlling the disorder through
group therapy and one-on-one consultations. With her strong will and winning
attitude, she managed to get it under control in about a year and a half,
just in time to graduate high school with honors. During her teen years, she was friends with Teela, a wererat
who could almost be Tequila's identical twin. The scar on the inside of her
left wrist is a show of sisterhood between the two girls, and Teela has one
on her wrist also. Immediately following high school, she enrolled in college to
become a dental assistant; she wanted some experience in that field before
she pushed ahead to become a Dentist. A friend of hers had visited New
Orleans, and upon coming back, told Tequila that she should go and become the
Regina there, since there were no prominent lions in the area. So, taking the
advice, wondering if she could handle were politics, she headed down to N.O. Strengths: Can
transform different parts of her body at will; can force others to shift, or
to shift back from lion form; more strength than the average; martial arts
training; the natural instinct to lead those weaker than her; will protect
those that depend on her with her life; can share power with betas or alphas,
but is more practiced with betas. Weaknesses: Her
OCD could be considered a weakness; it sometimes causes her to go into wild
cleaning sprees, or even panic attacks when something is out of place.
Silver, of course. Doesn't really want to lead a pride, but she figures that
it's part of her destiny, so she should at least try it. Quirks: She
is a romantic at heart, and would love to find that someone for her, have
children, and a family like you see in the homemaker's magazines. Other: |
