Eyes: Blue
Despite having a good body, Tyler deliberately hides it with baggy clothes most of the time, occasionally wearing more feminine and revealing clothes when she wants to shock or surprise people. Her style would be described by most as gothic or at least alternative. She mainly lives in cargo pants, band and slogan t-shirts and hoodies, though owes corsets and cyber goth gear for those to shock moment. Tyler's coyote form is as large as an average wolf but slightly trimmer. Her coat is grey and red in patches with white under the muzzle and the belly. Personality: Tyler is Gemini incarnate. Many would say she has a dual personality and even is borderline schizophrenic but she isn’t. It is suspected though that she does have a personality disorder and she is also OCD. She acts like the typical brat without the tantrums, her moves deliberately cold and calculated. She will do and say things to provoke people and push them to the brink of fury. She also enjoys making people uncomfortable and loves to interfere where she isn’t wanted. However she does have a quiet, very reserved side which is rarely seen by anyone. This is as it only really comes out when she’s on her own or occasionally in situations which are completely out of her control. In this frame of mind, she’s quite creative and pursues activities such as painting and photography which stimulates her active mind. History: Ty only remembers one time when she was truly happy. Two years old, smiling and laughing as her mum pushes her along on her plastic buggy whilst her dad filmed the moment and laughed along with them. Fast forward to her next memory and it is of her crying on an unfamiliar bed, the start of her time in care. Her first foster family came along a couple of weeks after she first arrived but these times have now been forgotten and Tyler can't remember whether she was happy or not. Only that she watched the car drive away, staring at it from the doorstep before being taken back into the home. The next ten years saw several families temporarily adopt her as every time she caused trouble. The first time was for beating up her adopted brother, jealous of the love and attention the parents lavished on him. They had tried to treat her the same but to her, it was obvious they were handling her like a damaged child and she wasn't happy about it. She wanted to be treated normally. The second family took her back after she broke a girls wrist at school in a fight and getting herself expelled from school. She had already been suspended from persistently disrupting class and threatening one of the teachers. Her third adopted family came when she was ten, two years after she'd last been returned. The experience twisted her perception of people so much, that she was never adopted or fostered again due to her erratic behaviour. Whilst with the family, she came obsessed with the oldest son Sam who was fourteen, doting on him and following him about like a love sick puppy. When he got a girlfriend a couple of years later, Ty became very jealous and started to threaten the girl, acting aggressively and telling her to back off Sam. Sam at first didn't believe his girlfriend when she told him about Ty’s behaviour. Having only seen Ty's good side, he couldn't see how or why Ty would act like that towards her. But when he walked in one day, he saw Ty about to hit her, he knew his girlfriend had not been lying to him. Ty had gone bad and this was the start of her nastier side. Sam told his parents and though they tried to get Ty to the doctors and get her referred, she became more erratic to the point where they couldn't cope. The family had in the past fostered disruptive children before, hence being allowed to adopt Ty, but the final straw came when Ty got hospitalised after running away and slicing herself up. The Ty who lived the next four years in care was malicious, bullying and manipulative. She controlled anyone weaker than herself and sized herself up to the bigger children and those who she couldn't control, refusing to be intimidated. Her tough exterior formed and as her body changed, she started to buy weights with her allowance and pump herself up, doing exercises in the yard. At the same time though, when not controlling the others, she could be found on her own, her mind demanding she did something else with her time. She started to paint, stealing the supplies from the home and stores, then selling the work on for packets of cigarettes. Smoking helped to calm her down and give her focus to do her work. She also at this point regularly escaped from the home's grounds and found a nearby wood where she could chill and forget everything. A couple of months before she was due to leave the home, she was walking in the woods when she came across what she thought was a dog wandering around. The dog looked curiously at her but mainly ignored her until it came across her path later on in the walk and feeling annoyed that the dog was seemingly following her, she took a swing at it with her leg. Threatening, the dog snarled and bit her. Cursing, she punched the dog in the head, making it let go and run off. When she got back home, she took some supplies out of the cabinet and bandaged her leg up, pretending she’d caught it on a tree whilst climbing if anyone asks. It was a bit later on that she realised that the dog was actually a coyote and wondered what a coyote had been doing there. The next full moon, she worked that one out. She had heard about lycanthorpes, the humans infected with the lycanthropy virus which caused the infected to shift into the animal they had been infected by, but never come across one. When she shifted in the woods, having managed to navigate her way out of her room through the window when the change first started. The shift was painful and that night, an anguished howl could be heard, waking most of the residents of the home and nearby up. Now faced with the reality of shifting into an animal, Ty didn’t return to the home. Instead she began to roam the streets, living out of boxes and stealing food from dustbins behind food stores and fast food outlets. She spent a year on the streets, continuing to scavenge and avoiding other people when she could. Her shifting got less painful and she found herself starting to have some control over it. One night during a full moon however, she got a bit unlucky and was shot by a hunter. When she shifted back, she struggled to dislodge the bullet and it was only the help of a kind stranger that she survived. It turned out that the stranger was actually Raziel, the Skoll of the Arizona wolf pack. Ty was tracked down and soon introduced and initiated into the pack. She wasn't keen but on being told the pack's rogue policy, she thought it was for the best. Eventually she found a home with the pack, but still not a true family. She always felt like an outsider, being the only coyote and didn't think she really fit in with the rest of the pack even when human. She soon fell back into her old ways, bullying beta members Keeley and Orion and antagonised the others. The final straw came when her and Kacia were drunk one night and Ty tried to encourage Kacia to let her turn her, so she would be one of them or rather she would have a fellow coyote to hang with. Luke caught her in the act and only just stopped her, pulling her away from a not so understanding Kacia. In the morning though when Kacia was told, she was horrified and Ty was punished for her act by being announced dead to the pack. Their lupa Iz however decided as as a final act before she also saw Ty as dead in her eyes, that she would send her to New Orleans to audition for the pack there, hoping that Slayde and his alphas, in particular the strong willed Artemis, would be able to straighten her out. Tyler is currently on a train on her way to NO, having been seen off by her ex Lupa. Strengths: Ty's time on the street taught her survival techniques and she is quite a mean fighter when provoked, using every ounce of strength to make up for her lack of height. She was also taught some martial arts during her time with the pack and she is only not alpha due to refusing to be trained whilst with the pack. She has all the potential and even is showing the ability to partly shift even now (she can't completely manage it but is getting there). Weaknesses: Her mouth and attitude tends to get her into trouble and though she thrives in it, in certain situations she totally freezes and becomes a very vulnerable young woman. She has quite a low tolerance to silver and the fact her power is untrained means she sometimes still shifts in very stressful and emotional situations. Quirks: Being OCD means that Ty needs to have order in both her life and where she lives. She needs to have her bedroom in a certain way, certain colours and items in certain places and is also very picky on where her food is kept and stored. She loves to paint and draw as well as take photographs. Other: Tyler hasn’t had much of an education but secretly desires to go to college and onto university one day. She is yet to audition for the pack.
