Appearance: Diamanta is a beauty. She has long luxurious, sable brown hair. Her eyes are the intriguing color of aged sherry, an almost reddish brown that turn red blood in anger, and a paler golden brown with passion. Her skin is a pale creamy shade of peach. Not quite as pale as you expect most vampires would be after almost 200 years without sunlight. She is tall, lithe yet muscular with a curvy body. She prefers to wear soft sensual fabrics, fabric that are pleasing to touch. Silks, satins, buttery leather, soft suede, etc. She prefers black, and shades of red.

Personality: Diamanta is naturally very sensual. She can also be cold as ice. She can be very good at hiding her emotions. She is your quintessential man hater, yet she can draw men like flies to honey. Due to her colorful past, she certainly knows how to mislead them, using all her feminine whiles, if the need arises, but it is purely a means to an end. She has a long history of being mishandled by men, in her view, and that colors the way she sees all men now. SHe does, love to use men as playthings. She is usually extremely elegant and regal in her demeanor, if a bit glacial. She truthfully cares not what anyone else thinks of her.

History: Diamanta was born just before the turn of the 19th century. She was the daughter of French Royalty , and one of his mistresses, Duchesse Chanelle DeLisle. She grew up on the fringes of French society, an outsider at best. Her mother was basically a French Courtesan, having gained her title through the courtesy of being married to a much older gentleman, who turned his head to her *Royal Escapades*. Her mother died when she was 13, and as the country was in turmoil at that time, she had no home, and no family. Diamanta made her living picking pockets, and eventually selling her body. A beautiful creature, she was taken into one of the most elegant maisons de tolèrance (brothel)in Paris, during the reign of Napoleon. It was a life she detested, but the only life she knew. She dreamt of escaping Paris, and her debasing life. She is not even sure of exactly how old she is. She spent the last few years of her human life, slowly wasting away, due to the dreaded White Plague.

One night, her body wracked with the consumptive cough of Tuberculosis, she made her way to a bridge over the River Seine, with the determination to throw herself into the river, and pray for a merciful end to her life. But the plan went astray, when she was saved by a mysterious vampire, and turned to live an eternal life on earth. She never learned who he was, when she awoke next, it was in a dark cemetary, and she was alone, and furious. A servant of her maker kept an eye on her, and told her she had been saved, because of her beauty,but because of his other commitments, her maker could not remain, and was already gone from her life. The servant, who never identified them self to her, always wearing dark bulky clothing and in disguise, instructed her in the vampiric ways, and put her intouch with other of her kind, and then left, their duty fulfilled. She had wanted to die, and then was given a new life. As she grew, and strengthened, she saw in her abilities, the way to make men pay, And throughout her time as a vampire, many men has suffered at the hands of Diamanta, and often she used sex as her weapon. For her whole unatural life, she has harbored a resentment for whomever created her, and hopes one day to run into him.

Strengths: Diamanta is a strong vampire. She yields the normal Master vampire abilities. Her strength is not only physical, but she has a force of the mind, in that she can use her mind in a physical way. To physically throw people, with mere thought. She is silent and deadly. She does have the strength of glamour, though, she keeps most her talents well hidden. She has the ability to call panthers, but she does not utilize it, in fact, she closes her mind to the entire idea of calling an animal.

Weaknesses: Her speed is not quite on par with those of most master vampires, and Dia is affected by holy relics a bit more than the average vampire. In fact, she bears a scar of a cross on the nape of her neck, which she suffered in the first few weeks of her new life. Her intense emotions, especially her anger towards men, can certainly be deemed a weakness, as sometimes, she cannot see past those emotions.

Diamanta does not fully embrace her vampire self. She hates what she is, and craves the humanity she once had, no matter the existence she led. Often times, she is at odds with herself,and that is perhaps, her biggest weakness. If she embraced her abilities more fully, she would be an more powerful vampire, though, she chooses not to see it.

Quirks: Though Dia has such a strong hatred of men, she loves sex. And amazingly, is a successful historical romance writer.

Other: though Diamanta is a powerful vampire, she has no intention of being a threat. She just wants to be her own master, and no one else's. If she can overcome her intense dislike of anything male, she could be an amazing support power.
