Appearance: Her frame is scrawny, almost too skinny by appearance, though the strong muscles of a lycan hide beneath it, giving a false sense of weakness. On a beautiful large featured face, blue eyes the color of a clear summer sky are framed by a generous amount of chestnut brown hair that curtains her body to her shoulder blades. Her skin looks luminescent being so pale and her figure is long limbed and almost gawky if she didn’t hold herself with such grace. Artemis goes for comfort above all else, usually found in a pair of worn jeans and a tank top, though on occasion when the moment calls for it, Arty will wear a skirt or nice dress, though she’s a tomboy when it comes to clothes most of the time.

Personality: From the outside, Artemis gives the impression of being a right royal bitch. She doesn’t smile, and appears unfriendly towards most. But underneath the angry mask she puts up, Artemis is quite a friendly, caring individual, but finds it hard to trust people. She has become one of those people who, unfortunately would rather die than accept help, but strangely would take a bullet for any of her pack or friends. Growing up in an extremely carefree environment, Artemis is pretty easy going about most things and doesn’t hold grudges unless it’s really warranted. Ultimately Artemis is woman who loves her new life and her few choice friends and would rather forget her life from before.

History: The punishment of an affair between Duncan and Poppy, Artemis has always felt unwanted in both parent’s lives. Raised by her mother, Artemis has never wanted her father’s love and protection, the yearly birthday and Christmas card the only reminder that he even existed. Artemis lived the boring Australian suburban lifestyle in a small town just east of Sydney, where she felt the brunt of childhood teasing thanks to her rather deranged and poor mother.

As time went by, of course, the feeling of embarrassment turned into hate towards Poppy, the feeling turning into anger at the knowledge and feeling of being told she was a mistake. Artemis stumbled through High school, dipping her fingers in every honey pot she could find, drugs, alcohol and sex. Dropping out upon reaching 15, Artemis left home and moved to Sydney taking a job at a local supermarket and living in the rather less than friendly part of the city.

It was being in the derelict suburbs that ultimately caused Arty to be reborn, as she puts it, into a werewolf. Walking home late one night she was attacked and raped by a rogue male wolf which left her on the brink of death. She still has nightmares about it despite her tough exterior. Upon her 23rd birthday, Artemis left her local pack, where she had risen to the upper ranks through the years and moved to New Orleans due to personal reasons. Upon arriving she joined the local pack and hopes once she’s settled, to rise again to higher positions.

Strengths: Artemis has all the pros of being an alpha lycan, and is well practiced in the art of combat through many a power struggle back in her old pack, Artemis is confident in her fighting ability and is strong and quick on her feet. Other than fighting or lycan strengths, Artemis is a true friend, one who would keep any promise or secret given to her to the grave before uttering a word.

Weaknesses: Artemis sometimes has a tendency to over think the situation and is rather quick to anger; this can lead her to say things she later regrets, which can get her in some sticky situations. The distance she places between herself and others can also prove to be a problem. This is also because Artemis is usually quick to judge, labeling the people around her, before knowing them.
