Personality:
Faith is a charming person, able to smile and laugh with someone and have
them walk away considering her their new best friend. All of that charm and
warmth is a facade though. Inside, she is probably thinking a thousand biting
comments that never reach her lips or picturing ways to torture and humiliate
you. She's loyal to no one but herself, she loves no one but herself and the
smallest slight, real or imagined, will easily earn her undying hatred. She
can and has carried a grudge to the grave, the person that gave the slight
grave at any rate. Shess a master of getting payback without anyone ever
suspecting she was at the heart of it. There is no one in the world that she
hates more than Brendan Hughes. History:
There are two versions of Faith's past. The first is the one where she was
born in New Orleans, dirt poor and virtually homeless. Her mother was a drug
addict, her father was her mother's dealer, who also pimped her out when the
little pay that she made cleaning hotel rooms wasn't enough to support her
habit. This version is the one where Faith was at times neglected, completely
and utterly left to her own devices for weeks at a time, and at other times
given more attention than anyone deserves in the form of physical and
emotional abuse. At turns neglected and molested, this version is far from
happy, it's also the version that very few people know. Faith learned at a
young age that she could use her body to get almost anything she desired out
of men, and what she desired was a new life. She dropped out of school at sixteen and moved in with her
boyfriend who was older, a college boy from a wealthy family. She stayed with
him, using the power she had over him to get anything she wanted, until his
family cut off his trust fund. Within days she had moved on to her next mark.
For the first time she was living the high life and she knew then that there
was no going back. It was three days before her twentieth birthday that she
met Steve, and he was everything she looked for in a mark, wealthy, lonely,
reasonably good looking, in other words, ripe for the picking. She set out to
seduce him, having no idea that he knew all about her lifestyle and the games
that she played with men. The day he proposed she thought she'd hit the lottery, no more
jumping from man to man to maintain her lifestyle, here was a guy that wanted
to take care of her for life. They wed quickly and quietly, only the Justice
of the Peace and two witnesses, friends of Steve were present at the
ceremony. It was on the first night of their honeymoon that Steve showed
Faith who he really was;what he really was. He was a monster and not just
because of the beast inside him. He was sadist and considered Faith his
property. He changed her on their wedding night after beating almost to death
and raping her. For the better part of the next year he kept her constantly
by his side, using the threat of throwing her out of the street, penniless to
keep her in line. The three years that followed made her childhood seem like a
dream by comparison but she gained control over her beast. After months of
planning, she managed to steal enough money to buy herself a new identity and
a one way ticket to a new life. She picked New Orleans because its a party town and she
desperately wanted to party until all the bad memories were washed away in a
haze of sex and alcohol. She'd been in the city almost two months when she
ran into Brendan Hughes one night and when when he gave her the choice to
join or die, she joined. All of the hatred and anger she'd been holding inside found a
focus;Brendan, the golden boy that had it all. He'd been poor like her but
had worked his way up from the streets. He was somebody, both within the pack
and within the world of business. She could have forgiven all that if he'd
only fallen for her charms but he seemed immune to her attempts at seduction.
At first that just made her want him more but as time has gone on, Faith has
grown more and more bitter. He has money, power, and people that loved him,
everything that Faith knew she deserved and never had. The second version of Faith's life is very different from the
first and is one that everyone is familiar with. It's the one where she grew
up happy in middle class America with loving parents and a dog. In this
version, she was changed saving a young child from being mauled by Steve and
not knowing about the pack, gained control over her beast on her own. There
were some setbacks, in the beginning, which she still hates herself for,
causing her to occasionally lash out in anger and bitterness, but only when
the pain of her guilt becomes too much. This is also the version where she
loves everyone in the pack that she's been a part of for almost a year and is
loyal and caring. Strengths:
Typical alpha strengths. Her acting ability, which has allowed her to hide
her true feelings and attitude from everyone around her. Weaknesses:
Typical weaknesses. The fact that all of her relationships are based on
falsehoods and since she has no real loyalty and no real love for anyone the
likelihood that one day even the illusions of friendships will disappear.
Steve is still out there, angry about losing someone he considered his
