She is fair from being waif like- she has curves and is proud
of them. She dresses comfortably however, usually in jeans and button down
shirts and motor cycle boots. Personality: She
is a strong willed woman, something that comes in hand in the classroom. She
loves to teach, which makes her being outed as a lycanthrope painful. Her
daughter, and the pack are the only things that she holds dearer then her
career. She has a tenderness towards kids, and teens that shows with
the younger pack members- she really is a pack mother. If she were a true
wolf, she would be the she wolf left to guard the cubs as the others go out
and hunt. History:
Paige is the oldest daughter of a rather well off Australian grazier. She
grew up happy, helping out on the farm, even bringing in plenty of ribbons
for horse riding. She met a US marine when she was sixteen and they hooked up.
He was her first love and it was he who was her first, well, her first.She
was either the luckiest girl on earth, or the unluckiest. She ended up
pregnant and refused to either give up her baby for adoption or abort it. She
had a baby girl that she named Kacia. The next two years were hard, she was just a kid, with a kid.
She was determined though, she stubbornly got through school with grades that
gave her the choice of Universities.She took twelve months off to raise her
daughter and to work before starting her teaching degree. When she turned 20, and her daughter was 3, she re-met her
daughters father. He, even though they weren't together- he had a wife when
he met her- help arrange her to move to the USA. She finished up her teaching
degree and started to work. Her ex was careful to keep her away from his new
wife while still keeping contact with his daughter. She was 24 when she had a run in with her ex's new wife and
found out the hard way that she was a real bitch. She turned her. Mac spent
the next twelve months 'on leave' from the school, using the pretext that she
wanted to spend more time with her daughter. In reality she was living with
the pack while her ex raised her daughter for twelve months. She returned to teaching when she was 25, finding a
bittersweet happiness at teaching, knowing that she was unable to have any
more children, her 'kids' at school became her surrogates. Her relationship with her daughter was fractured to say the
least. Her daughter started spending more and more time with her father, not
knowing that the 'monster' that her mother had become was much less then that
of her step mother. Mac wanted her daughter happy and let her stay with her
father whenever she wanted. It hurt, but she wanted what was best for her
daughter. Life carried on like this for the next nine, almost ten years.
The breaking point, so to speak, was when her daughter found out about her
step mother. She hadn't seen her daughter for almost two years, aside from
the occasional her ex having decided that she was a disruption and that he
wasn't going to force their daughter to see her if she didn't want to. What bought her back into her life was her daughter appearing
on her doorstep bruised and scared. She found out that Kacia and her step
mother, who was higher then she in the Pack, had been fighting more and more
often. The stepmother had started to shift in front of her and it was only
luck that left her as relatively unscathed. Paige and Kacia took off, looking
for protection higher in the pack. In retaliation, the stepmother told her
school about her lycanthropy. She found herself without a job, and her and
her daughter shunned within the community. She lasted almost twelve months of
this, living on the left overs of other pack members. Her Ulfric helped arrange for her to be transferred out of the
area, the Pack he chose was the New Orleans pack. Her Ulfric had been hoping
that it would all smooth over as he didn't want to loose either pack member. Mac and her daughter, after permission was given, have made
their way in a rather tense road trip, to New Orleans from New York state to
join an unknown pack. Strengths: Is
patient- she could teach anyone and still never loose her temper, well, not
with them in the room. Often thinks outside the box, so to speak, in order to
make teaching fun. Weaknesses: Is
tenderhearted- will never rise high in the pack even with her innate power. Quirks:
