Tattoos/piercings: None Appearance: Tala is tall, leggy and curvy with long coppery-brown hair that flows and sways gently on the sides of her face and down her back. She looks around with warm brown eyes that seem to sparkle from within. Her eyes have a thick set of dark sooty lashes and her skin very soft and creamy looking. She loves to wear thin summer dresses with spaghetti straps and any kind of pattern. She does not mind wearing skimpy clothing or nothing at all but she prefers to wear something even if it is skimpy. Personality: Tala is a strong willed, intelligent woman who goes after what she wants with total determination. Despite this, she is also a warm, caring person with a very giving personality. Since her joining of the pack in New Orleans Tala has overcome much of the scars her former pack placed in her. She has regained all the fire and compassion she had as a human and even more in a few ways. She is no longer shy and timid but strong and sure of herself. History: Tala was born in Huntsville TX but her birth parents placed her up for adoption when she was only a few months old so she knows nothing about them. A nice wholesome Romanian couple was looking to adopt a child, friends of theirs told them about thinking about looking outside the country. The couple remembered about this one couple that her husband worked with for a year before he was transferred back to the USA. The Americans were unable to take care of a child because they both worked about 80 hours each a week and didn’t like the idea of a nanny looking after the poor child. Upon remembering that the couple tried their hardest to find the child. They were in luck and several long months later they Tala was delivered into the couple’s hands. Tala had a very happy childhood, she knew that she was adopted and didn’t hold any resentment towards her birth parents at all. She went through a rather prestigious cooking school when she graduated high school and mastered in deserts. She can cook anything really but she much rather prefers deserts and pastries. One day on her way home from work Tala came across a door that was shattered wide open. Fear raced though her body as recollection of whose house this was sunk in. She called the police and alerted them to what she had stumbled across before she placed one hand on the ragged doorframe, unaware of the splattering of blood on the frame. A small splinter of wood stuck her index finger. She sucked on the finger after she pulled the small splinter out, walked over the shattered door as she called out for the homeowners. She covered her mouth and let out a muffled scream as she came across the torn bodies of the homeowners. She knew they where dead by the intensity of damage to both people and the fact that flies where moving over their wide eyes. Tala stumbled into the body of one of the officers and she screamed; the officer helped her back outside and after they calmed her down he took her statement and prints as she had touched the doorframe. It was discovered that two werewolves had mauled her friends to death. Tala was shocked at the sudden and brutal way that they where killed. The cops called her boss and told him that she would not be in as had witnessed a brutal attack but didn’t go into any further details. The next few days passed in a blur for Tala and before she knew it a month had passed. A few small changes in her body and behavior were cropping up, but she ignored them. She was walking hone one night after visiting some friends when she started to feel strange. She could to hear and feel her bones starting to shift around, making wretched cracking and popping sounds. She let out a blood-curdling scream as she saw the first patches of thick black fur sprout from her arms and hands. It turned out that the blood on the splinter from nearly a month ago was a werewolf's blood. Tala was infected with lycanthropy. The rest of that night passed in a red blur and Tala awoke a day later in the woods with a coppery taste in her mouth. When she staggered back home her parents scolded her for not telling them where she was going, helped her wash up and sent her to bed. The local papers told a story of another brutal werewolf attack but this time it was almost ten head of cattle as well as three farm dogs. Tala didn’t place two and two together and thought that it was the same werewolf that had attacked the other people a month before. The local pack had been systematically eradicating or chasing out most of the other breeds of lycanthropes, and the Ulfric knew what attacks were made by his own pack. He didn’t like the idea of a rogue wolf in his city and he went hunting for it. What he found was Tala. Amused by the brutality a mere female had produced, he tracked her down. Tala was forced, on penalty of death, to join the local wolf pack. A few months passed before Tala had the courage to go the cops and tell them what she knew. She bought a plane ticket immediately after. Her parents moved out of the city at Tala’s urgent request just before she flew over to America; New Orleans to be exact. Now she has a small apartment and she is currently looking for a job in one of the local restaurants. She tries to avoid angering any of the other wolves there; in fact she thinks that all wolves act the same as the ones she knew back in Romania. Strengths: Standard Alpha lycanthrope strengths, ease at shifting, able to shift part of herself, slightly faster healing rate than normal Alpha’s, and a talent for both drawing out and soothing the beast without touch, but it is amplified when she does touch. Weaknesses: : Standard lycanthrope weaknesses, Tala cannot start the day without a cup or coffee and something sweet to eat. She is protective of her pack and she absolutely loves books (especially cookbooks), she will get rather disgruntled at anyone she saw wreaking or vandalizing books. Quirks: Tala absolutely loves cookbooks and shoes; she will go out of her way to get a new cookbook or a pair of shoes. Other: She makes a wicked chocolate fudge cake that is made up of three layers of gooie chocolate cake with a layer of melt in your mouth homemade fudge between each cake layer, then a chocolate fondant covers the whole confection with 85% pure coco shaving dusting the top and a hand crafted chocolate rose.
