Saelan's House, Garden
District
Saelan, the Master of the City of New Orleans
acquired a house in the famous Garden District. A place where the New Orleans Kiss
is welcomed to stay and visit, in fact, it is encouraged that they do come to
the house as much as they like. The house was decorated to suite Saelan's
liking and he will make sure that if any of his Kiss that resides there on a
more permanent basis has all they would like. He does not limit their
decorating of their personal space.
The main floor
is decorated in cool neutral colors that welcome all that come in, somewhat
resembling the home structure of Saelan's homeland. There is a comfortable
setting room and the stairway leads upstairs to more bedrooms, and Jaylyn's personal bedroom and bath.
The upstairs rooms are light and airy,
letting in sun for those that like it.
In the kitchen there is a key coded (the code provided to the
Kiss and changes often) locked door that leads to the basement which houses the
more 'delicate' members of the Kiss, with Mayle's
bedroom at the bottom of the stairs so that he can guard his charges
during their sleeping hours. There is a entrance from the outside of the house
into the basement that also is at Mayle's bedroom and keycoded so that only the
Kiss may enter through that entrance. Any others trying to come in this way,
beware, there is an alarm system should Mayle not be in residence and the
penalty will be at the descretion of Saelan or Ren.
There are also bedrooms and
bathrooms for visitors that need a place to rest and they can be
assured that protection will be provided by Saelan. Saelan and Renato’s
,with a shared bathroom between them. These rooms are also housed in the
basement along with a small private Living
Room where much of the time most of those in residence seem to find
themselves, rather than upstairs.
The kitchen
opens to the backyard, which holds a heated swimming
pool and a relaxing garden with the center attraction of it being the bubbling
koi pool. There is also a thick growth of vines surrounding the
property, growing along the fences that helps to discourage intruders, many of
the vines have long sharp thorns to deter prowlers, though there is a path that
leads to the house next door, one that Jaylyn resides in with Julian.
