*Les Duex Monde' (The Two Worlds)*

A quaint little store located on the edges of the French Quarter, Bourbon Street and Conti Street to be exact. The building is three stories, the top two hold apartments. The first floor houses the bookstore. Upon entering, the store immediately to the right is a comfortable sitting area with two couches, coffee and end tables and various chairs that surround small tables for patrons to use, be it studying or reading. To the left there are shelves of books, books pertaining strictly to preternatural subjects. These subjects include Vampirism, Lycanthropy, Witchcraft, Psychics, Zombies, and various other types of preternatural subjects. There are both old and new sources of information, depending on the subject and date of the books, ranging from old myths to new facts. If there is any specific topic that is needed just let Kyra or Nathan know.

It is a mixture of bookstore and coffee shop, letting patrons come in for coffee and snacks or just browsing for books. The coffee menus is basic, decaffeinated or caffeinated but the choices for sweeteners, flavorings and ‘energy’ shots are varied to allow the patrons to mix and match their tastes. Snacks that are offered are basically of the variety that goes with coffee: donuts, brownies, cinnamon rolls, cookies etc. Just let Kyra or Nathan know what you would like and they will do their best to get it. At the back of the store there is a counter which coffee and various food items are served. Behind the counter are one set of stairs that lead up to the apartments above. The second level houses two apartment, each one bedroom each, around 800 sq ft, and furnished with appliances. The third level holds one large apartment where the bookstore owner, Kyra resides. It is rather large, about 1600 sq ft. The two bedrooms and two baths with a very large living room that takes up the whole front of the apartment. The bedrooms in the back away from the noise of the streets. Going past the staircase there is a back entrance that allows access to the apartments up stairs. The entrance, or exit, leads to a small courtyard that is only used by the apartment inhabitants. (Currently the second floor apartments are empty and being cleaned and prepared for renting. When available notice for potential renters will be posted.)
