rules of the flock
1. Obey orders from any Swan who is higher in position (or more dominant) than you. Punishment will be measured out immediately if any orders that are meant for the well-being of the Flock are disobeyed without very good reason.
Hierarchy is as followed:
1. Swan King/Queene/Prince/Princess
2. Castor/Pollux
3. Leda

2. All positions (except that of King or Queene which is determined at birth) are determined by combat between flock members. Combat is allowed only by alpha flock members who have petitioned the King or Queene to allow them to challenge the Castor or Pollux. If the Positions are available they may be claimed. Leda cannot be challenged nor can she challenge anyone because she is not a Swan even though she is a part of the flock.

3. All Secrets are that…Secrets. Any Flock member caught telling flock secrets will be labeled a rouge and banned from the Flock. That means all flock members would then shun the outcast and refuse to acknowledge the rouge's existence.

4. Betrayal will result in death at the hands of the Castor or Pollux before the entire flock.

5. Defend flock members weaker than yourself.

6. The Queene, King, Prince, or Princess cannot be `forced' into taking a Mate. If a suitable mate presents him- or herself then the leader may choose to accept him/her or not. The leader may take a consort but s/he is not entitled to the throne.
